Lindsey + Nate met out in Tennessee at a music festival. When Nate offered to help Lindsey setup her tent at the festival, she knew this was the man she was going to date. We absolutely loved the adventure we got to experience with these two during the shoot. It was very cold, but you wouldn’t be able to tell from the photos and their expressions!
Jenna + Drew know how to throw an awesome party! We were able to attend their welcome party the night before the wedding at Bonez (awesome margaritas anyone?) and met some of their sweet family members. Their wedding day was nothing but awesome, not to mention the spectacular sunset from Uley’s Cabin that night, and the band (Mama Magnolia) got everyone dancing until the last shuttle going down the mountain. The day after the wedding we got to celebrate with them again, along with their family and friends, at their farewell brunch. Later we ran into many of the wedding guests at the Crested Butte farmers market as well! It was the perfect weekend!
Our hearts are filled with joy from Kat + Jared’s wedding in Minocqua. Not only was it their wedding day, it was also Jared’s 30th birthday! We arrived a day early and had the privilege to attend the bonfire on the lake and meet some of their family and friends. Immediately we were able feel the abundant love and excitement from all who gathered at camp supporting Kat + Jared’s marriage celebration.
In true up north fashion, you either get amazing sunny weather, or you get 100% chance of rain for the entire day. Kat + Jared originally had their ceremony site picked out on a peninsula surrounded by the lake and pines trees, however, they had to move indoors due to the rain. There is something really special about Clearwater Camp. Kat grew up coming to camp here and loved the lake and loved theater. In fact, she performed many times on the same stage where the ceremony was held.
Kat + Jared gave a true up north experience to their guests. Everything from getting married in a northwoods camp on the lake surrounded by beautiful old pines, to serving fish fry as a dinner entree, to bringing out fried cheese curds to keep the dancing and party going. It was an unforgettable experience. Thanks for sharing it with us K+J.
