What a great time we had with Kat + Jared at the Urban Ecology Center in Milwaukee for their engagement shoot! They each have such fun laid-back, bubbly personalities that are just amplified when they are together, so their shoot was just laughter upon laughter the entire session. We cannot wait to celebrate their wedding next year in Minocqua, WI; we just know it will be a blast!

Rachel + Dan are truly a beautiful couple inside and out and we were so privileged to be a part of their wedding day! I (Maria) felt a special joy for Rachel, as we were roommates and teammates 9 years ago in San Diego, and at the time just single women running after Jesus and in pursuit of the future plans He had for us. Now, we’re both married to amazing men who also love the Lord! I am so thankful that our paths crossed again in the Midwest and we had the opportunity to photograph their wedding! Not only did we get to witness their covenant vows, but we also got to celebrate with them, laugh with them, dance with them, and of course, document their special day with them! Rachel + Dan, we are so honored to know you two and can’t wait to see how God uses your marriage to refine you as individuals and strengthen you as a team, show you more of His love, and bless many people at Soul City, Chicago, and beyond!

It’s been a blast getting to know Boots + Stephen through our small group at Summit Church here in Chapel Hill, NC. Boots is a super talented photographer and despite her stunning serious looks, she really has the sweetest childlike spirit on the inside. And Stephen, well, his mustache, fun laugh, and hipster vibe says it all. Together they also make a pretty rad frolicking team.
